•Responsible for managing the work deliverables of the platform/product/solution, and ownership of large and/or complex functional product(s) within the platform.
•Manage enterprise SAP Governance including the following SAP technical services: BASIS, Security, Development, Integration and change/release management.
•Coordinated DevOps across various projects and operations for the overall SAP ecosystem.
•Partner closely with Infrastructure and application teams to delivery consistent system performance, availability and stability.
•Lead overall ERP platform strategy and drive business value & productivity via technology.
•Experienced technical leader managing application technical services for enterprise SAP environment including SAP ECC, SCM, GTS, SolMan, PI, Enterprise Portal, on Oracle DB plus SAP BW on HANA. Technical services include, but are not limited to:
-SAP BASIS – general system administration including operations and program delivery across production and non-prod platforms
-SAP Security – role access and application security, including SOX controls & governance
-SAP Solution Manager – Solution Manager used for system admin and governance control, including ChaRM.
-SAP PI – Process Integrator used for majority of enterprise application integration
-SAP ABAP – SAP development & code quality
-SAP Change/Release Management – overall responsibility for SAP CAB, release calendar and change process
•Manages agile teams including indirect and external team members
•Proven track record of strong people management within at least one discipline and/or expertise within the discipline.
•Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills; places high emphasis on strategy & influence.
•A strategic platform leader, responsible for overall platform experience. Drive continuous technology health checks and maturity assessments to evaluate & improve platform end user experience and business efficiency & value.
•Ability to influence from both a strategic and technical standpoint across the IT function and business with a 360 degree sphere of influence including peer and leadership level.
•Financial responsibility and accountability for the SAP ecosystem.
•Provides coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities, and talent assessment across the IT team, including direct/indirect reports and external partners/contractors.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
•A minimum of 10-15 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across product lines.
•Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating at all levels across the business.
•Proven experience in SAP ERP platforms implementations & support, with broad and deep understanding of full technology stack spanning applications and infrastructure.
•Up-to-date with latest industry standards and technology trends with SAP and related applications.
•Externally focused change advocate with ability to work across functional boundaries.
•Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
•Experience in end-to-end SAP implementations and support.
•Change agent comfortable suggesting and designing solutions that utilize new technology.
•Collaborative and independent leader with proven ability to simultaneously lead and drive multiple projects in a demanding environment.
•Excellent analytical skills - strong problem solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve.
•Strong interpersonal, written / verbal communication, organizational and leadership skills
