WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Designing and delivering word class hardware for home control and automation.
• Developing new and innovative ideas and processes through prototyping and analysis
• Working with other teams to create great products.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION
• A strong technical background with a demonstrable mechanical engineering portfolio.
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes including: injection molding, casting, cnc machining, metal fabrication.
• Experience with ProE/Creo 3D design package.
• Ability to research and test new manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
• Practical knowledge of applying principals of mechanics, heat transfer and materials to your designs.
• Experience collaborating with ECAD data and the development of PCB mechanical layouts
• Proven ability to deliver high quality documentation to the supply chain for product and process.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other technical resources.
• Support development and launch of new products with operations, often including foreign travel.
• B.S. M.E. with 7+ yrs experience.
