The Lighting & Energy Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving revenue and install quota by supporting the CI Channel, through increasing lighting, shades and energy product adoption and attach.
•Growing sales of Savant’s ever-increasing portfolio of lighting, shades and energy, by:
-Educating integrators on Savant’s solutions in the lighting, shades and energy categories to drive adoption across all projects
-Assisting in developing and executing sales programs designed to take market share from other vendors
-Providing in-region and virtual new product review and training sessions, including developing ROI measurements against defined goals
-Helping to enhance the new integrator onboarding experience by assisting in the creation of specific lighting, shades and energy focused education and design assistance
-Identifying and working with key specifiers and providing appropriate system design training, etc.
-Work with our industry partners to ensure processes between companies stay in alignment and product information stays updated in order to ensure success between Savant and our valued vendor partners
•Supporting the Savant direct sales team, representatives and distributors to achieve revenue, growth and install goals.
•Promoting all Savant eco-system product categories and the Savant brand by representing Savant at local and national trade & industry events, both virtual and in-person
•Promote the Savant brand in key markets with trades people as well as end-users
WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION
•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or 3-5 years of technical sales experience
•Experience with home automation and control, networking, lighting, shades and HVAC control solutions
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent listening skills.
•Excellent computer skills, including programming experience, proficient in Keynote, iPad/iPhone applications, webinar platforms, etc.
•Ability to analyze and adapt to business priorities in a fast paced and changing environment
•Solid financial and budgetary skills
•Ability to work a variable schedule with willingness to travel
•Ability to work remotely from home office and develop and host virtual selling, education and marketing sessions
•Experience with ERP and customer relationship management software
